Hello!I hope youre having a good week! I've had kind of a rough few weeks, but I'm not here to throw a pity party, lol...I just want to share my new album with you! So, for a while, I was really hesitant to do anything that involved documenting me-my life now or past, my likes/dislikes, etc. At first it seemed like those things were trivial, but i decided i needed something more to work on and I thunk it will be nice to uave these little tidbits about me for L to look through when he gets older. I have my Project 52 album pretty much down to a routine, so I found myself wanting to do more. And then I discovered the Awesome Ladies Project. They have a great series going on right now called 100 Days of All About Me. So i dove in, and while i was about 27 days behind, I am slowly catching up. My plan is to actually do two pages a day until I'm caught up. This has been fun so far because, A. I get to use a new kit I bought :), and B. Sometimes I get caught up in being a mom, fiance, employee, that i just need to be all about me for a second. It's easy to get lost and caught up in all you have to be (or what you think you have to be), than to just remember to do your best and feel satisfied at the end of the day. So, today I'm sharing days 2, 3, 29, 30, and 31. I chose to keep it pretty simple and use mostly the 6x8 size layouts, and I'm using the Modern Edition (it's gorgeous, ya'll), sprinkled with a little bit of the Hello Lovely Edition (also gorgeous!) So, have you done an album like this before? Tell me about it in the comments and enjoy! Peace,
Anne

Hello!Well, did ya'll see the eclipse?? Even though I wasn't in an area of full totality, it was still pretty cool! We had about 80% totality, and while it didn't get completely dark here, the sky did look a little hazy and the temperature dropped 5 degrees. I thought it was pretty amazing knowing that something so cool was going on above the Earth. I didn't have glasses and I was at work all day, so I didn't get to take any cool pics of the shadows or anything, but I watched the live stream on the NASA website and took some cool screen shots. So, of course I had to document the event and I was delighted to see some freebies on a couple blogs that I could use for my page. Recently I downloaded Pixelab and it's awesome! I can finally put .png's on top of photos. For this page, I really wanted to keep it simple and just show off the pictures. For those of you familiar with Ali Edwards, I love her word and quote graphics. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything that really seemed appropriate for this page, but the freebies from Traci Reed Designs worked perfectly. So, really the only thing Project LIfe about this page is the layout! I love that I can utilize other apps and elements now with Pixelab and really enjoyed making this page. And because I got these awesome freebies, I want to share them with you! See links below under my page :) The word graphics are from Traci Reed Designs. You can find those here (and check out some of her other stuff too!):

Peace, Anne hello! I'm a little behind on sharing my layouts with you all, so I'm just going to keep this short and sweet. We had some crazy weeks in July with vacation and visiting grandparents, so I have some extra layouts to go with my weekly pages. Now that things have calmed down a little, we are settling back into our routine and I'm getting back on track with my Project 52 album. I lost a little motivation after I scrapped a lot during our vacay, but it quickly came back. What do you do when you lose motivation? If you're feeling that way now, I hope this will give you some inspiration to get back to your projects. Enjoy!
