hello! ***this post contains affiliate links*** A cookbook?? In the palm of your hand??? Why, yes! With the Project Life App, of course! As I talked about in a previous post, my fiancé and I have always talked about "The List"- every time I make a new recipe, we decide if it is good enough to go into rotation, or what we affectionately call, The List. And I knew at some point, I would like to turn that list into a cookbook. I envision myself completing this beautiful cookbook with high quality pictures and wonderful stories, but you kow, life happens, and we don't always have time to do such things. So, how convenient is it that I can throw a few pics and a recipe in a PL layout and when I'm done, I can just print it and start cooking! I would also like this to be nice enough to give to family members and such, so this is the perfect way to do that. Ok, so whats my process? Well, since this is an ever-changing, on-going project, I kind of just go with the flow and as I please. Sometimes I have pictures of the actual food, like say, I make something for a potluck or just cook it at home. Other times, I will just pull pictures off the internet (I know Becky Higgins uses a lot of the Pioneer Woman's pics, because they are gorgeous!), and use those. I'm no professional picture taker, so this way I end up with some good quality, pretty pictures. As for kits, I just use whatever looks good with the food. I'll pull colors from the pictures and then just coordinate from there. Then you just add a card or two for the recipe and then, Voila! Your on your way to cookbook domination! So, for a little inspiration, here are a few of my pages! I pulled this image of the appetizer from pinterest. I found these images on pinterest as well. I love the one in tje lower right corner-this recipe is so easy, I didn't want to type out directions or ingredients. This picture allowed the recipe to speak for itself. My favorite!
